Model Landscapes (2005) engages with our desire for the perfect landscape and our willingness to mold or model these through large and small-scale interventions, Prophet has created miniature landscapes viewed on small monitors, drawing the viewer in and demanding close inspection. These small object-based vignettes each comprise a shelf work made using mixed media that are subject to surveillance by cameras.

​The second element is a bespoke wall-mounted acrylic box housing a 1.8-inch LCD screen showing the image captured, live, by the camera. There are 7 shelf works (miniature landscapes) viewed on 7 small monitors.
